The reason why I am soooooo excited for these two is because I know how long they’ve wished for this!!! Congrats to Joe Nichols and his wife Heather who are expecting their first child this spring. Heather told People magazine, “After trying to have a baby for so long, we are thrilled to announce that I am pregnant.” Joe added, “I have to give all the credit to my wife — she has been a trooper through all of this, and I am so happy.” This is especially big news because Joe revealed last November that he and Heather had been seeing fertility specialists and trying to have a baby for four years. The couple was married in September 2007 and this will be their first child together. Joe has a 13 year old daughter, Ashelyn, from a prior relationship.

Miranda Lambert’s “issues” with pop singer Chris Brown on Twitter continue ever since the Grammy Awards. Once she had a chance to go home and watch the awards on DVR Miranda tweeted, “Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”

Miranda was referring to Chris’ 2009 assault conviction for beating up then girlfriend Rihanna. Apparently her tweets riled up his fans because later Miranda tweeted, “You’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything.” Then a short while later she said, “I’m done for now. But not for good:) nite love bugs & remember… Be who you are an stand for what u believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!” Later that night Chris Brown went on a Twitter rant which was quickly deleted, but in part of it he said, “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F**** OFF!” Miranda tweeted the next day, “Oh and one more thing for all who are asking….I have a Grammy too.” YIKES!!!!!  I just love Miranda!!

It’s certainly no secret that Taylor Swift has a whole generation of young followers. With her upcoming Dr. Seuss film ‘The Lorax‘ set to hit theaters March 2, Swift is poised to have an even bigger influence on the lives of youngsters across the country. In this recently released campaign video for the National Education Association, Swift joins fellow ‘Lorax’ cast members Betty White, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms (from ‘The Office’) and Zac Efron to read a Seuss-like poem promoting the NEA’s Read Across America Day.

Taking turns with each line, Swift and the rest of the cast recite this poem: “You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child. In schools and communities let’s gather around. Let’s pick up a book. Let’s pass it around. There are kids all around you, kids who will need someone to hug, someone to read. So join in the fun in your own special way. Read across America with Dr. Seuss and the NEA.”

The NEA will be celebrating Read Across America Day on March 2 to coincide with the release of ‘The Lorax.’ Long before she was ever cast for the film, Swift had been active in advocating for early childhood education — especially when it comes to reading. In the past month, the multi-Grammy Award-winner even made a donation of 14,000 Scholastic books to the Nashville Public Library.

A press release from the library about that contribution said, “Swift’s donation will help to provide incentive to encourage the love of  reading and literature.” In October, she made a donation of 6,000 books to the Reading, Pa. Public Library, which is just outside of her hometown. We’re more than excited to see her make her Dr. Seuss debut at the beginning of March!

This is Melissa Carol Mansfield who was caught at Kenny Chesney’s home and arrested after 2AM when authorities found her smoking and drinking wine near his pool.  Are you kidding me?!?  She had at least 2 bottles of wine with her and claimed that she and Kenny were in a relationship.  Uhhhhh yea right!!!

She was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication. Chesney was out of the state at the time, but the property manager said she didn’t have permission to be there. “She claims she had a relationship with the homeowner, who invited her there,” Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy Hugh Tharpe said.

“She was found around the pool area, in a restroom, and (The) corporal was looking around the perimeter and found her in a restroom. She had at least one if not two bottles of wine with her.”

This woman also says she stopped in Knoxville to visit with Chesney’s parents before taking a Greyhound bus to Nashville. Authorities say she then got in a limousine, which she claims was hired by Chesney, and traveled 25 miles south to the singer’s Williamson County home, hopped the fence and made herself at home.  Yes, everytime I’m invited over to someone’s home I must “hop the fence”. When questioned, she listed her home as Murrieta, Calf., a city between Los Angeles and San Diego. “She did claim to have a relationship with Mr. Chesney and they were dating but that is not confirmed at all,” Tharpe said.

Chesney’s publicist says the singer has no connection to Mansfield. Authorities were first alerted to the break-in when an alarm was tripped. The woman is scheduled to appear in a Williamson County court next Thursday (Feb. 23).

Blake did an awesome job for sweet Miranda yesterday!!!  It was their 1st Valentine’s as a married couple and he got her exactly what she’d been wanting!!!!  Forget chocolate and flowers, she got a giant ring shaped like a hummingbird and covered in pink and white jewels.

Lambert tweeted a photo of the sparkly bling yesterday saying “Y’all look at my V- day gift. I have been wanting this for a year and a half! I have the best husband in the world!” And it would seem her entire Valentine’s Day was just as exciting, as she tweeted later that evening, “I don’t like it when Valentines day is over. U think it should be Valentine’s days!” later adding, “I am glad I have an awesome Valentine everyday tho!”

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww  I just love that couple!!!!  I hope they are in deep silly love for ever and ever!!!
